⎯ Cookie Helmets is a category-defining brand in skydiving, renowned for its pioneering innovations and personalisation in helmet design. For over 20 years, they’ve set the standard in safety and performance, dominating the global market through skydiving clubs, retailers, and wind tunnels. However, their aging website no longer reflected their innovative spirit, leaving them vulnerable to rising competition and disconnected from a new generation of skydivers.
Partnering with DotDev and Userkind, Cookie set out to transform their digital presence, reconnect with customers, and solidify their leadership in the skydiving world.

Dot Dev
1. Increasing competition from new brands.
2. An aging website created a clunky user experience.
3. A disconnect between the brand’s innovative reputation and its digital presence.
1. Concerns that new skydivers would choose competitors over Cookie.
2. Declining engagement on the website, would reduce their connection with their audience.
3. Concerns about missing sales opportunities if local retailers were out of stock, eroding market share and customer loyalty.

To secure future growth and continue driving innovation, Cookie needed to reclaim its market leadership in a landscape where copycat competitors were eroding their edge. With an outdated website that failed to connect directly with customers or engage new skydivers, Cookie required a bold digital transformation to showcase their pioneering spirit, strengthen customer loyalty, and inspire the next generation of enthusiasts.

Cookie partnered with DotDev and Userkind, recognising the value of combining expert development with strategic UX & UI design. Our proven track record with brands like Seven Miles Coffee, showed we could deliver the transformative experience they needed.
Through our content modelling and UX design process we:
1. Created a home page to inspire and engage, direct visitors to key products and categories.
2. Streamlined the product customisation and path to purchase, reducing steps, adding clarity and increasing delight.
3. Improved way finding throughout the site, by crafting a visual hierarchy in design and clear, engaging menus.
